Carmela Casuccio is a Canadian abstract artist who has exhibited her work in galleries in Canada and the US over many years and whose paintings are in private and corporate collections internationally. Her influences range from the chiaroscuro techniques of Rembrandt and the late work of J.M.W. Turner to the American Abstract Expressionists. Her goal has always been to create works that are authentic, original and true to her inner vision and her body of work shows a world of her own making. Carmela’s main subject matter is cities abstractly explored intimately and from a distance.
